| HISTORY OF LUNk RADIO LUNk Radio is an anti-establishment pirate radio station in Lincoln, Nebraska, broadcasting on 88.9 fm with a live webcast at www.lunkradio.com. LUNk started out as the name of a party house (lunk haus) in north Lincoln, NE where LUNk radio was started by Brian Anonymous AKA beet X or beetus christo, and (sexual) DAD in 2004. LUNk the word has ambigious and sometimes non-sensical meaning and was coined by DAD. BEET X DAD (1980 - 2006) LUNk was suggested as the fake call letters for the station by the politico-historian TAAFT. T.A.A.F.T. LUNk is also an acronym for Lincoln's Underground Network developed by beetus christo who was influenced by the Anti-flag song - Underground Network. The station's intent is to provide an alternative to corporate broadcasting redundancy, the christian low-power FM brainwashing crusade, and provide an outlet for independent media and free thought programs.
